Confined Space Entry and Rescue Program

Our Confined Space Rescue program is intended for personnel who enter confined spaces during emergencies for the purpose of effecting entry-rescues. This program is designed to provide initial hands-on practice for simulated rescue operations from actual or representative permit spaces. Rescue personnel, according to 29 CFR 1910.146 (k)(1)(ii), shall receive training to perform their assigned rescue duties and shall also receive the training required of “authorized entrants” under paragraph (g) of the same standard. Additionally, rescue team members must be trained in basic first aid and CPR, which shall be conducted and documented under a separate training curriculum.
