SRS is a relatively new health & safety training and consulting Company. We are based out of Plymouth, Massachusetts and serve the New England Region. The Company was formed in 2011 and we have seen fast growth. SRS believes that our competitive pricing and desire to offer exciting, dynamic instruction that is customized to your situation sets us apart from other companies. SRS Inc. has identified four main focus areas for business growth.
These focus areas include:
- Safety Based Education with classroom and hands on training
- OSHA/NFPA Focused Training Programs
- Corporate Consulting on hazard recognition, evaluation and control
- Experienced instructors that come from the field and can relate to safety issues first hand

Safety Rescue Solutions Incorporated is owned by Robert O’Brien, President and Kevin Nord, Vice President. The Company is committed to safe effective hands on training and consulting following applicable standards. The Owners and staff are veteran fire service professionals with years of experience teaching and working on specialized Technical Rescue Teams.
Robert O’Brien, President; Rob has over 20 years with the Hanson Fire Department currently serving as a Deputy Chief. Rob also serves as Chief Liaison of the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team. Rob is certified in all aspects of technical rescue and has for many years taught health and safety programs. Rob has certifications in Dive Rescue and Swift/Flood Water Rescue. Rob is a certified Harbormaster holding a USCG Captains License. Rob is a “Train the Trainer” for VRS Tower Rescue Program.
Kevin Nord, Vice President; Kevin has 44 years in the fire service retiring as Chief of Department and Emergency Management Director for the Duxbury Fire Department in 2022. Kevin has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Curry College and has successfully completed the four year National Fire Academy, Executive Fire Officer Program. Kevin is a certified Paramedic, Fire Instructor and worked many years for the Massachusetts Fire Academy as an Instructor. Kevin served as former Chief Liaison to the Plymouth County Technical Rescue Team and former Chair for the Fire Chiefs of Massachusetts, Technical Rescue Sub-Committee. He is certified as an 10/30 hour outreach trainer in OSHA’s General Industry.
Robert Telless, Instructional Facilitator; Robert served as the Safety Program Manager for Covanta Energy since 1993. Additionally, Robert served over 50 years with the Carver Fire Department serving as a Captain/Health and Safety officer. Robert has OSHA train the trainer Certification in General Industry, and has many other certifications including Asbestos, Scaffolding, Forklift, and CPR/First Aid.
