Our Boating Safety & Boom Deployment program provides to those individuals who have been trained at a minimum at the “first responder” according to 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(ii) with additional training per OPA 90 as it relates to hazardous materials release on water for the purpose of protecting nearby persons, property, or the environment. Training will include Boat Handling and Safety, Boom Deployment, Properties of Oil, Hypothermia and Boom Decontamination.
