The Competent Tower Climber/Rescuer Program teaches qualified individuals self-rescue, companion rescue by raise, companion rescue by controlled descent. Suspension intolerance avoidance and treatment will be addressed. The classroom section will focus on importance of pre-plan, OSHA compliance, PPE use, fit and inspection and rescue theory. This program is taught by certified VRS Instructors.
